Excess weight can also increase a person’s risk to have arthritis because it puts more pressure on joints. Women are more likely to have arthritis than men but men are more likely to have gout. Family history can also be a reason for having arthritis.

Regular exercise would be a big help to reduce the pain. Many people find acupuncture can help to ease the pain. Eating apples on a regular basis could help too. Wearing power bands that have magnets and negative ions could also be a big contribution in lessening the arthritis pain.
